Accreditation Plus (A+) is our highest level of accreditation. Landlords who achieve this standard receive preferential advertising on the Manchester Student Homes website. Adverts from A+ landlords appear higher in the search results when students search for accommodation.
Please email applications for Accreditation Plus to manchesterstudenthomes@manchester.ac.uk.
Landlords who are interested in participating in community events,whether or not you are applying for the A+ standard, are more than welcome to volunteer at any of the events taking place.
If your volunteering is in relation to the A+ standard please download the certificate, get it completed and signed by the event holder, and then send a copy manchesterstudenthomes@manchester.ac.uk or bring it into the office.
Write an article for MSH website
We are always looking for new and exciting articles to feature on our website and our social media platforms, highlighting all the good work of MSH accredited landlords.
Research
Many of our landlords have undertaken research on key areas and submitted their findings in the form of a report. This research could be carried out on a number of areas, for example:
- Student safety issues
- Property security
- Best practice for welcoming students to their new home
- Putting together the ideal Welcome Pack
- Affordable housing
- Under-represented groups in student housing e.g. families or those with disabilities

Mentoring
Can you offer your guidance to others? We’ve had landlords speaking on popular podcasts as well as hosting sessions to provide advice and guidance on their area of expertise.

Photos of the Area
As you are aware, we encourage our students to get to know and be a part of their local community. MSH are constantly on the lookout for images of off campus areas that we can include in our literature and campaigns. If you have any pictures of community assets or parts of the local community that mean something to you - we’d love to see these.
