Clydesdale House is a city centre 4 storey warehouse conversion and provides select modern accommodation for 62 students in single, furnished bedrooms, each with electric wall heaters and ensuite shower / wc. There are 16 larger than average size bedrooms on 3 floors and 14 on the 4th floor. Each floor is split into two with each half having its own fully equipped kitchen, lounge / diner with TV. Therefore it is ideal either for single students or groups of students wanting to reside together as each half floor is self contained with its own security lock system. There is a coin operated laundrette on the 4th floor. There are telephone sockets in each room and a line can be connected on request. A night porter occupies the front entrance hall for added protection and security. There is no provision for parking but there are two large public car parks close to the building.

The management of the building is administered from an office on the ground floor during normal working hours.

Clydesdale House is situated adjacent to the metro link in the main shopping area in the heart of the city regeneration area. It is central for all universities. The bus and railway stations are 5 minutes walk. Also within very easy access there are theatres, cinemas, restaurants, pavement cafes, high street shops, exhibition centres, museums and libraries which all offer a taste of eclectic city centre life.
