We are able to offer you the following additional services as part of your registration package.
Advice
As a registered Manchester Student Homes landlord, we can offer advice on housing matters at no extra charge. Our office is open throughout the working week and every member of the team is given training on common housing issues. For complex or ongoing problems, our experienced Housing Officer is here to help.
Multi Agency Working
Manchester Student Homes is a presence in the local and business community and works with a number of bodies to raise standards and ensure comprehensive information sharing. We are jointly owned and managed by The University of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University and have service level agreements with City College Manchester, Royal Northern College of Music, Salford Students' Union and Manchester College of Arts and Technology (MANCAT), who have an exclusive arrangement with us to provide their students with access to our quality private sector accommodation database and services. We work in consultation with these institutions and their students and with local authorities, such as Manchester City Council, and with you as landlords.
Mediation
Should a dispute occur between you and your tenants, Manchester Student Homes can offer mediation between both parties. We operate an open and transparent service and mediation plays a key part in this. You and your tenants are invited to our office at a mutually convenient time, where our Housing Officer or one of the management team will aim to help you come to a settlement over your dispute.
