You can now register, view and edit your properties, contact details and adverts using our secure online registration service. We have worked hard over the past few months to bring you online registration that is far more efficient and user-friendly than previous systems. We hope you will enjoy using online registration and would welcome your feedback. Please ensure that you read our Code of Standards carefully before registering. A copy of the Code of Standards can be downloaded below. We will continue to require copies of your relevant certification for our records, as part of our commitment to improving standards and assuring students and their parents that your properties are safe.
We look forward to welcoming you on board as a landlord with Manchester Student Homes. Pdf format registration forms can be downloaded by clicking on the link below, however we hope you will consider the more efficient and environmentally sound method of online registration.
Please note that, whichever method of registration you use, adherence to our Code of Standards is now compulsory for landlords who register with Manchester Student Homes. This change reflects the very low number of non-Code properties advertised and enables us to assure students of good accommodation and sound management practices.

In addition to your fully completed registration forms and payment we will need:
- Current gas safety certificate (valid for one year)
- Current periodic electrical installation certificate (completed by an NICEIC or similarly approved engineer. Valid for five years)
And for Licencable Houses in Multiple Occupation:
- Copy of HMO Licence or acknowledgment from you local authority showing that a Licence has been applied for.
If you have registered with us in the past, you will notice that our registration forms and requirements have changed. We hope that these changes will make things easier for landlords and enable us to assure our student customers that they are searching a selection of the best quality student accommodation in Manchester. To ensure that your advert reaches Manchester’s 110,000 students as quickly as possible, please read through the forms and supporting information carefully and make sure that we have all your supporting documentation before returning your forms.
Once your forms are received, a member of our team will check that everything is in place and then input your adverts onto our online database. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if there is anything you would like to change. Then, sit back and wait for the phone to ring!
